Founded in 1893, Long Ashton sits on a limestone ridge just three miles from the centre of Bristol, with panoramic views over the city and the Somerset countryside.
The course was redesigned by Hawtree and J.H. Taylor in 1937 and is largely unchanged; it hosted the Martini International in 1966, when Peter Alliss and Bill Large shared the title. Excellent natural drainage keeps it in good condition all year, and its greens are among the best in the area.
Long Ashton is part of our Bristol Golf Tour.
Course: 18-hole parkland. Address: Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9DW
