Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club

Southport & Ainsdale is a celebrated links on England’s Golf Coast, designed by the great James Braid and set among the sand dunes of Ainsdale with views of the Irish Sea. It hosted the Ryder Cup in 1933, as well as major amateur championships.

Expect undulating fairways, deep bunkers and fast greens on a course with plenty of history and character: a true test of links golf, yet hugely enjoyable for visiting golfers.

Southport & Ainsdale is part of our Southport Tour, alongside Royal Birkdale, Hillside and Formby, for a few days of world-class links golf.

Course: 18-hole links. Address: Bradshaws Lane, Ainsdale, Southport PR8 3LG
